Ivó/Izvoare, a subalpine settlement belonging to the Zetea commune is, with its clean air, its rich and abundant flora, a real paradise. Te pure mountain honey produced here, the local hard-working bees form the basis of the products and services offered by Bíbor Apiculture and the Zümmögő apitherapy house.

The term apitherapy is also known as bee therapy: health care and healing with bee products.
Up to 50-100 thousand bees can live in a hive. Due to the propolis and the sterile, hygienic environment, the fungi and viruses cannot multiply, even if the hive is characterized by a temperature of 35 degrees and a humidity of 90%.

The healing effects of the air within the hive have been discovered by beekeepers since ancient times, as they slept near the hive most of the time during their migrations.

Hive air helps treating the following diseases:

The Zümmögő cottage houses 9 bee families, 4-4 families in the two beds and one family in the inhalation hive. The bees can only travel outside, so they don’t fly into the house.

In addition to the air in the hive, the vibration of the bees helps the body heal itself, as the human need for bio-resonance is 7.38 hertz, which is essential for the immune system to function properly against viruses, bacteria and parasites.If the level of vibration is lower than required, the self-healing process of the body will slow down. The 150-300 hertz bio-vibration emitted by bees helps to increase this self-healing ability.
